Chelsea Striker Holding AC Milan Talks

One of the players from the Jorge Mendes stable, the agents' other clients also being linked to AC Milan are Porto striker Andre Silva and Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez, Diego Costa is reportedly in talks with Milan about a switch to the San Siro.

Costa agent Mendes reportedly met with Milan directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli in Cardiff on Saturday ahead of the Champions League final between Juventus and Real Madrid, when talks about a deal for the Chelsea striker took place, according to Sky Sports.

Sky sources went on to claim a further meeting will take place this week as Milan look to finalise a deal for Costa, who has today claimed Antonio Conte has informed him he's no longer part of his first team plans at Chelsea.

Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian had been linked with Costa in January, a move to the Chinese Super League is seen as another potential destination but with Milan's Chinese owners, Rossoneri Sport Investment Lux, concluding a takeover in April there's money to spend. Could see the Rossoneri snap up the sometimes volitle Spanish international?
